With a teaching career spanning 15 years, Max has been fortunate enough to instruct some of the world’s best young guitarists in a variety of disciplines. He holds advanced degrees in jazz and classical guitar from the California State University, Northridge as well as the Koblenz Guitar Academy (Germany), and the Cologne Conservatory of Music (Germany). Previously, he chaired the Guitar Dept. of the American International School (Vienna, Austria). He has lectured about music performance and given masterclasses at many of Europe’s most prestigious music universities and conservatories, in addition to his time as a guitar instructor for several well-reputed guitar academies in the US.
