Currently residing in Los Angeles, he has been making a name for himself as one of the leading guitarists and multi-instrumentalists, both as a live performer and as a recording artist. He has shared the stage with TLC, Snoop Dogg, T-Pain, Mavis Staples, Esthero, Andy Vargas and many other amazing artists.

Currently performing for American Idol alum Alex Nester (Santana), pop singer Nikki Paige, and Nashville songwriter Aaron Taylor, he has garnered praise and recognition from some of the industry’s most established artists and producers. Recording credits include Tyce - Hero (Jim Steinman production), Doolin' Run - California Gold, Planet Booty - Success Ep & Futuresweat, and Richard Schoenhertz’s Hesse Projekt, which was one of Germany's highest grossing classical/ambient albums of 2008.

In addition to recording and touring, he also writes parts for Grammy winning songwriter Johnny Conte (Shakira, Gwen Stefani, Rhianna). Not just a parts writer, Max has found a niche as a composer for television, film and internet media.

His start in the business began with his success as a rock guitarist in his teens in Los Angeles. Growing up surrounded by musicians at the infamous Joe’s Garage recording studio, he was constantly surrounded by music giants such as Steve Vai and Billy Sheehan. By age 18 Max had amassed a host of residencies at LA’s most famous rock venues such as the Whisky A Go-Go, KeyClub, and the Troubador, providing him with the fan base and performance experience upon which his career would be built. It was at this time he was awarded a full scholarship to attend music school at Cal State Northridge, an act that would launch a new facet of his career as a classical and jazz guitarist. Although bred into the rock world, Max found his home playing R&B, pop and soul music before moving to Europe in 2007. Touring Europe consistently from 2007-2009, Max brought his unique blend of rock, R&B, and jazz to audiences in over 20 countries. While touring with Quinteto Colonia, an Argentinian tango group, he was offered a position as the head of the guitar department for the American International School in Vienna, Austria.

In addition to his accolades as an instructor, performer and recording artist, he also produces and composes for several songwriters, solo artists and creates commercial music. A consummate professional, and master of many genres, he can be seen performing around the Los Angeles area with the likes of Joe Travers, Nick Milo and other notable R&B, pop and fusion artists.
